What do all these items have in common? You are correct, we don't see much of them anymore. I'm sure in each person's lifetime/generation the list changes as technology evolves. A lot of the evolution is for the better, and make our life more easier. Take music for instance. I think its crazy how fast we've phased media out over the last 30 years how we went from 8-track to cassettes to CD's to now MP3's. Not to mention the devices that we used to play them in. Remember Walkmans, Discmans, Mp3 players and now cell phones????? About a decade ago, I started to collect DVD's as a hobby, and stopped a few years ago when they were trying to switch to blu-ray. It's just so hard to keep up in this day an age.
I really don't even use a pen anymore, which is pretty sad. I prefer to type everything, which also has its down sides. What if my hard drive crashes, not to mention losing my already horrible penmanship. The other day I tried to write something in cursive on my dry erase board and felt like a 3rd grader trying to learn on those sheets with pre-drawn letters. SAD!
