An Apple a Day...

I think its pretty amazing how the passing away of Steve Jobs has really made an impact in the daily news. I did do some reading up on him, after he passed away and its pretty jaw-dropping what he accomplished in his life. The difference he has made in MILLIONS of people's lives around the world. 

What a lot of people don't know is that MAC was introduced into the market as the first operating system, but Windows came on to the market and ate up the market. A lot of the features from the MAC was improved and made user friendly in the Windows product. Needless to say, Jobs was fired from the company during the slump and came back with an unbelievable force to introduce pocket devices (Ipods, Iphones, etc) in the fast paced age of technology. It was almost as if he foresaw where technology was going.  For that, I can appreciate someone that has made a trend so powerful that it's known and used around the world (There's an app for that!). Not to mention single handedly bringing the company back to life and to be more powerful than companies like Exxon. When your organization is compared to the US Government for having more liquid assets in the bank, I think you have a lot to be proud of. 

Sad to see, that his life was ended pretty young. Hope he was able to enjoy his success! I know many others are...R.I.P.
